  Went to the Sidcot Arms last weekend for a family birthday celebration with 3 generations present. The service from start to finish was excellent & the breadth of options on the menu ensured that we were all able to find something appealing and appetising. The setting of the restaurant is very attractive and the pricing extremely reasonable. Our commendation to all the staff for their warm welcome and the quality of food and service. We'll be back !

  We were here yesterday... the service was ok ...the food was ok ... I ordered the smothered chicken, everything was fresh apart from the chips .they looked like they had been found from the bottom of the fryer 3 portions too late! It wasn't just my plate the rest of the tables that looked like that too.
  We had desserts and they were lovely .
  Ludwick the manager seemed very stressed and when he asked questions he looked a bit nervous to find the answer out , like he was waoting for a complaint ..my impression of him seeing him working with the other colleagues is the he stresses them out too .the shift looked messy with no organisation.
